Public Consultation - Three Mile Cross

Taylor Wimpey would like to invite you to take part in our consultation on detailed proposals for 172 homes to the north of Church Lane and east of Basingstoke Road (outlined on the map below).

The proposals were given outline planning permission in 2014 as part of the wider South of M4 Strategic Development Location which aims to provide around 2,500 new homes, new parks, open space, play areas, schools and community facilities.

Taylor Wimpey is working on what those homes will look like and how they will be positioned within the site. This will form part of a ‘Reserved Matters’ planning application which goes into much more detail about house layout, scale and appearance of the new homes, as well as the design of roads, provision of parking spaces and landscaping. This will be submitted to Wokingham Borough Council for their formal consideration later this month.

We’ll be aiming to provide a wide range of homes, from 1 – 5 bedrooms in size, 10% of which will be available as affordable homes. On property parking will be provided for every house, with more parking available for larger homes as well as visitors spaces.

The proposals also include a playpark, children’s play area, open space and allotments for new and existing residents.
